JNVST Navodaya 6th Class Admission 2025: The online application was invited by the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to offer admission to Class 6 for the academic year 2025-26 at a variety of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) in India. The NVS administers the entrance examination for it. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST–2025) is the designation of the entrance exam. JNVST 2025 Test Schedule and Important Updates

On July 16, 2024, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) officially announced the full JNVST 2025 admissions calendar. From July 16, 2024, to September 16, 2024, you can submit your application online for admission to NVS Class 6. On January 18, 2025, the JNVST will be administered. Navodaya Admission 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria for Class 6

In order to be eligible for admission to Class 6, students are required to be familiar with the NVS eligibility criteria. If NVS judges that a student does not meet the requirements for admission to the JNVST for the 2024-25 Class 6 program, then the student’s application form will be rejected. The eligibility requirements and conditions that must be met in order to be considered for admission to Navodaya Vidyalaya in 2024 for the sixth grade are listed below.

  • Students are eligible to submit their applications for the Jawahar Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2024-25 directly from their respective districts.
  • Students must have a birthdate that falls between May 1, 2013 and July 31, 2015, inclusive.
  • In order to be admitted, the candidate must be at least 10 years old and no more than 12 years old. Failure to meet the age criteria will disqualify an applicant from applying for JNV admission for the 2024-25 academic year.
  •  In order to be eligible for admission to Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 in the academic year 2024-25, students are required to have successfully completed Class 5 from a recognized school.
  • In order to get admission to Class 6, it is necessary for them to successfully complete the NVS admission entrance exam in 2024.
  • The duration of the admission exam will be 2 hours. The assessment will encompass mathematics, linguistic proficiency, and mental acuity, with a total score of 100 marks.

Navodaya JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025-26 Required Documents

After passing the JNVST Entrance Test 2025, candidates must produce the following documents:

  • For candidates seeking admission under rural quota, the parents will also have to submit a certificate from the competent authority to the effect that the child had studied class III, IV and V in an Institution/ School located in a rural area.
  • Residence Certificate: The valid residential proof (as notified Govt. of India) of the parent of the same District where the JNV is located & candidate has studied class V shall be furnished.
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card of the candidate: As per section 7 of Aadhaar act, 2016, the provisionally selected candidate has to submit the copy of Aadhaar Card to get admission under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme.
  • Certificate by the Head Master of the school regarding study details of class III, IV & V.
  • Medical fitness certificate.
  • Undertaking for Migration.
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Category/community certificate (SC/ST) if applicable.
  • Category/community certificate OBC, as per central list if applicable. (Format Attached)
  • Date of Birth Certificate -The copy of Birth Certificate issued by competent Government Authority concerned. Proofs for eligibility as per the conditions of NVS.

How to Apply for the JNVST 2025 Application Form?

The online form for JNVST Admission 2025-26 Class VI is self-explanatory. However, the following guidelines should be borne in mind by students and their parents prior to applying:

  • The JNV Selection Test application form submission method has been simplified by using an online process. The online registration process is free and available through NVS’s admission portal at https://navodaya.gov.in. [Direct Link is already provided here].
  • Candidates and parents are recommended to review the notification and prospectus to ensure that all eligibility conditions are met.
  • Open the JNVST Admission Form 2024 Direct Link provided below. Click the register button.
  • The following documents in soft form (JPG format with sizes ranging from 10 to 100 kb) may be kept available for online registration:
  • Certificate validated by the Head Master, giving the candidate’s details in the approved manner.
  • Photograph, 
  • parent signature, 
  • candidate signature, 
  •  Aadhaar/residence certificate issued by the relevant government authority.
  • The candidate must enter basic information such as their state, district, block, Aadhaar number, PEN number, and so on in the application portal.
  • Eligible candidates must complete the online form and provide a validated certificate with a photograph and signatures from both the candidate and his or her parent. The Head Master of the School where the candidate is enrolled in class V will verify the information provided by the parent on the certificate. The certificate should be uploaded in jpeg format with a size of 10–100 kb.
  • Candidates from NIOS must have a ‘B’ certificate and be a bona fide resident of the district in which they seek admission.
  • The online platform is open source and free of charge. Applications can be submitted from any device, including desktops, laptops, mobile phones, and tablets.
  • In all JNVs, a help desk will be provided to assist candidates/parents in uploading applications for free. Parents may also approach the JNV help desk with the candidate and the required documents, such as a verified certificate with photograph, signatures of both the candidate and his/her parent, and a mobile phone with a valid active mobile number for receiving the OTP, registration number, and password via SMS for the registration process.
  • When applying for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, both the candidate and their parent or guardian’s signatures must be uploaded.
  • The deadline for submitting JNVST Admission online applications is September 16th, 2024.

Navodaya Class 6 Admission Test Syllabus 2024

Students who filled out the Navodaya Class 6 entrance form 2024-25 should be aware that admissions are dependent on their performance in the admission test. We’ve included the NVS Class 6 syllabus 2024 below to help them prepare for the exam.

  • The question paper will include three sections: the Mental Ability Test (MAT), the Arithmetic Test (AT), and the Language Test.
  • MAT will cover a variety of subjects such as figure matching, analogy oddman out, embedded figure, and pattern completion.
  • Mathematics will cover topics such as LCM/HCF, number and numeric systems, decimals, fractional numbers, and so on.

Navodaya Class 6 Admission Test Admit Card 2024

Following the submission of the JNVST Class 6 admission form 2024-25, the board issues the entrance exam admit card online. Students will be unable to take the admission test if they do not have their admit card.
